He keeps stressing the 123,000 miles. Dad traded his 2012 today with 120,000 and got 21,000. He also got a 2015. It's your truck, have fun with it, but I'd take these guys advice or at least consider it if you are asking for it.

    I'm happy with my K&N.
    happy happy happy
    not GAY
    just happy
Thanks to all for trying to drag me down.
Just try to catch me on the LA freeways.
I'm the guy rubbing Lupita into the center wall.

believe it or not you guys did help, even though that was not your intention
I got what I needed, thank you

uummm, op, your new truck sounds like a total pos with those mods to me ;)

kidding. the spacer lift works perfectly for your driving style. ppl here just like to crap on them. did you do a top plate style spacer or in coil type spacer? i had in coil for a while, it stiffened up the ride and i liked it better that way, then later got full ome lift and would have to say that rode a lot rougher than the spacer did. maybe i am crazy also.... however for wheeling the ome stuff was much better.

did you change your rear shocks or stay stock?

just a front spacer over the shock.
and 1" block and aal in the rear.
I left all the factory shocks on
    It seems to be ok.
I had this same setup on my 11. That's why I couldn't understand when people started ragging on spacers and blocks. It was fine. Maybe I should have clarified, I never go in the dirt. This is a freeway truck. I just like to sit a little higher up and I like the look. It works for me.

and to everyone telling me I left money on the table when I traded in the 11, be sure to look me up in 3 years. I'll give you a hell of a deal on my 15! I would rather sell cheap and move on. I have more money than time.

11 Tacomas are sitting on lots for 23 to 25k here. 4x4 DCs, but still. That dealer was smiling all the way.

    you got it.

    Next topic. Or two...
I am thinking about debadging. Magnetic grey 4 door LB lifted 2 1/2" with big rims and tires. I was considering painting them black, but I think it will look cleaner debadged. The TRD sticker is going away, that's a given. Thoughts?

Next... I hope I don't get into trouble here, I mean this with the best intentions.
I bought a vinyl plotter/cutter. I have always wanted one and I was looking for something to buy for my shop before the end of the year. I figured it out pretty quick.
I copied and pasted the Tacoma World logo from this web site and I was able to make a vinyl sticker from it.
Am I reinventing the wheel? Are these available? I have seen posts where they are mentioned but I have never found them to buy. So I made my own. Any interest? Anybody want to buy one? Should I be asking the owner of this board? This is new to me so I'm just blurting it out here.
    Flame on.

i think fully debadged looks clean. so with that top plate spacer your ride is just like stock up front! nice and smooth. good thing all the haters said it was gonna ride like crap.. enjoy the new truck that won't need a shit ton of maintenance parts like the last one was getting ready to need. i'm of the same mindset, don't like having older items that could have reliability issues, especially when the truck needs to get you to jobs and carry your gear.
