Is the Entune Navigation system worth the upgrade?

Got the JBL Nav / Entune and would buy it again. It has worked flawlessly for me.

 

Your missing the point here,
Sure if you want a deck that's simply a nexus or iPad then sure
But the whole purpose of this deck is to have all the tools required to fully run an active sound system along w just about any other option available on the market. The newer software doesn't Not run as stable as this version used. Stable based on the hardware.

There is a new version of the deck on the way, if you look at the link w quad core etc so I assume it would be released w a new version of software.

 

There is a voice training mode in set up. It has you repeat certain requests so the system can learn your voice. It seemed to help improve the recognition of my voice. If you have already tried that, I don't know if there are any other tricks to improve the system.

Would certainly purchase the 450 dollar Nav upgrade again for my Taco.

 

Fortunately, it only takes a few minutes. No diploma, though.

 

There is something to be said for getting all features in factory unit. I love having the entune I use Bluetooth to stream music from my phone I love having nav in the dash and not have to use my phone. Also love that u can pause and rewind live radio. That's just cool IMO. But to each his own..

 

imo, no. Not even close. The nav is garbage. I would like to kick mine in the dick.
