Not even surprised. The committee is bullshit though. Completely contradicted themselves when they were talking about Bama being first and keeping MSU in the top 4.

 

TCU is 5 not 6. Just sayin

 

Fuck this Commitee. Bring back the BCS.

 

They legitimately said Bama is first because the had complete game control, then justified MSU being 4th by saying they were never out of the game, which would mean Bama didn't have complete game control. Grade A bullshit. Also the fact that being undefeated doesn't mean shit is also stupid as hell.

 

The Commitee uses whatever reasoning is convenient to explain their bullshit rearranging of teams. Two weeks ago it was the "eye test" which was why bama was 5 instead of TCU. Last week it was body of work/record vs. top 25 which was why Oregon jumped FSU. This week it's "game control" which is why FSU is behind bama and Oregon.


How do you say one week that a team isnt good enough to be in the top 4 and compete for a national championship to the next week saying their the best team in the nation?

 

They rank the teams based on their performance that weekend alone. Prior weeks don't factor into their decision

 

Apparently. One of the criticism of the playoff and the committee that it would diminish the importance of the regular season.

They're doing a hell of a job trying to make that come true.

 

I'm just going to give up while I'm ahead. The committee is bullshit and everyone knows it.

 

They should just stop making weekly rankings and just do the final one dec 7.

 

These rankings really don't matter, the committee can decide on the final selection to put whoever they want in the big dance
