But you making staff right?

 

I run OE for power steering, brake, and coolant. Royal Purple gear, ATF, (w/filtermag) and coolant additive. Distilled water instead of washer fluid. For oil I'v always done Royal Purple with a K&N HP filter and a pair of filtermags. Im about to switch to Penzoil Platinum Plus, but sticking with the K&N filter.

 

Did you leave on your SRQ lights on over night.

 

Yeah, I hear you. that's the crappy thing with insurance, you can't tell them you want it replaced rather than repaired... and some shops bill insurance for replacement parts, and repair existing, and pocket the profits.. Sucks either way.

 

Funny, most people think it means trash, since its written across the trash cans..

Lol, no. I think it's because I don't drive the truck for days sometimes, so it just sits. When I started it Saturday it stutered a little. After I drive it, it would charge and start up good for the rest of the day. I let it sit again and this afternoon when I started it, it barely started. I kind of expected the stock battery to last a little longer than it did though.

 

Maybe it's time to go and run a dual battery setup get ready for your lights and winch.

 

That's a good one. I won't be runnning that one past my wife. Lol. Not for a little while.

Hey guys, I could barely squeeze out the funds for the battery. lol. And I said it was important that we get that one so our family wouldn't get stranded out in the middle of nowhere. lol. It worked.

 

Off topic so there's a servco salesman on here saying that they are bringing in TRD pros 15 of them and they will be 40 ish you think it's worth it? I still think after taxes you still would get raped lol

 

I think it would be worth it if you keep the suspension all factory. Maybe just an AAL to get a little rake. Once you change the coilovers something like that then you might as well just have gotten an off road.

Im gonna check the trucks out when they get here and hopefully they let me take one out for test drive bit still on the fence about it. only because I wonder if a redesign is coming soon lol

 

Mine seems to be going strong still, but I drive from Hawaii kai to pearl harbor and back everyday. I am thinking of upgrading to an optima also before the stock one dies on me at a bad time.

 

Did you guys see they expanded the airbag recall? Before 04 was the latest year, now it's 08..

I was going to wait on my battery to totally die but I would have kicked myself in the ass if I got stuck somewhere. It could still start the truck but I could tell it wasn't starting strong. I almost got the red top but after looking at the specs of both red and yellow I decided to pay the little extra for the piece of mind.

 

I wanted to shop around and choose from the different brands but figured since I was already at the store I might as well. I used to have a yellow top in my samurai and it performed well.

We watched the news and saw the airbag recall stuff. We have an 07 Civic but haven't been notified for it being in the recall.
