I have 2 yellows and a red. It's nice that our support equipment uses reds too, can service em at work.

I had a Yellowtop and would/will deffinetly buy one again, especially at cosco/sams prices! The odyssey is truly a fantastic battery, but it was very difficult to justify $340 for a starting battery :rain:

It weighs something like 8 pounds more than my optima!

Gotta figure out how to ship tho. I'm pretty if you contact them they would be willing to ship if you pay for the actual shipping costs. Or send it to Hawaii air cargo.

I want to say $160 for red, $170-$180 for yellow? It's been a year since I looke, but Neil might chime in.
I'm waiting for lithium to build up a reliable reputation before I go that route lol

Yup I don't mind paying for shipping waiting for a reply from seller. I wonder why it's so expensive at servco just for one lol

Yeah most OE batteries last 2-3 years, good quality aftermarket 3-4 years, a nice 99.99% pure lead battery up to 6 years depending on use. I have always averaged 4 years with Optima's with mostly city style short trips driving.

when I was in intermediate, a group of same aged canadians who learned how to play it, visited us and our two schools did a small kine tour on this island. When they left, one of the things they felt awkward on was the word "mahalo", as they thought it meant rubbish/trash…as they seen that word a lot on our garbage receptacles.

so I wouldn't mind getting an odyssey battery for my tacoma. The only place I knew where to buy it(audio shop), closed down….I can vouch that that battery can play jams all night long.
But a good bang for your buck is the everstart 5yr warranty one. Ive had many of those batteries and they held up for years of abuse(I like to play music for extended periods of time). The good thing is walmart will take it back before 5 years if anything goes wrong.
Ive also had some optimas but always get unlucky with em and costco doesn't sell em anymore. Another good one I like is the interstates, one of mine lasted about 7 years, I had it since high school and sold it in a truck 2 years ago. I bought one for my taco and I had it for awhile but I forget what I did with it…..

where on oahu sells the odyssey batteries?

I'll check my receipt later this morning... been a bit since I got it. But as far as Sam's vs. Costco, Costco don't sell Optima anymore.... Sam's all the way. I screwed up and could have gotten a charger (during a promotion), but didn't turn in the paperwork soon enough SMH...
I was considering that diehard battery, but like Nate's battery it is expensive and heavy......

Odyssey batteries at Battery Bill's.... if I remember corrwctly.

Is anyone else interested in getting BAMF sliders while they're 25% off? We had a bunch of people interested in September but I don't remember who they were. If anyone remembers who they were let me know incase they don't see my post.

I spoke to Jerry and he said they can fit 6 sets to a pallet and it's $600 +/- to ship a pallet. If we can get 6 people that's only about $100 shipping per person.

    Let's do this!

They moved to Nimitz, next to Montgomery cycle. I don't know if that old location is still open. And the ahua St puddle in mapunapuna is all brackish water, so you may want to avoid it.
