iPhone 6

Took about 2 weeks for my wife's 6, and about 3 1/2 to get my plus. My plus wasn't supposed to ship until mid November, so I was pretty stoked to get it almost a month early.

 

entune wont read my iphone 6 text messages but calls come through. anyone have a fix?

I have an Avalon Hybrid and a Corolla and they had the same problems, not with voice but text/message.

It had nothing to do with Verizon and everything to do with Apple/iCloud. When you activate your new i6, you restored everything from iCloud incl Bluetooth settings which are no longer compatible with the i6.



You need to go to Setting to do a "Reset All Settings", remove the bluetooth device from Toyota, pair it again. It will work.



Before you reset everything, make sure you write down your favorite setting/preferences, they will be wiped out. You phots, phonebook, etc. are save.

Bluetooth settings for Toyota Tacoma (info icon), show notifications fixed it for me.

You won't see existing messages, but the vehicle will read them to you if they come in.

 

What delivery date did they give you??

Yea man, its killing me to. There has been several people that has ordered after me that have already gotten their phones. I had a buddy go with me and they looked his order up and seen it and they said "there is nothing we can do about that". Im OVERLY pissed. If i wasnt so close to getting it, i would just cancel the freakin order

 

Bummer. you seem to be waiting quite a bit for the phone.

 

Yea, i know other people have waited longer, but they should catch up with the demand before expanding to other countries. I think if my date gets moved out anymore i will just cancel it. To aggrevating ya know.

 

My mom ordered her 6 on tuesday and it was shipped yesterday, me, ordered my 6 plus on sept 28th. Still no status change :-/

Ordered my 6 two weeks ago and it isn't scheduled to ship out for another week. Annoying for sure

 

My dad ordered a 128 gb iPhone 6 4 days ago and got it today. It isn't operational yet, but I'm kinda less than impressed with it in hand. Kind of a bummer, looking forward to messing with it though.

 

I too would be "less than impressed" with any phone that is not operational.

After having my iPhone 6 for over a month now I can say its really great.

Camera takes such nice pics and video.

I love using Apple pay. So easy.

 

Obviously I meant in hand. It's being sync'd now. Thinner than the 4S its replacing, but only 1mm thinner than my S4, smaller screen size. I was hoping to replace the S4 with a 6 but seems like maybe a 6 Plus is more suited.

 

That Sam's thing is intriguing. I'm due for an upgrade, and have been on the hunt for a 64gig.

 

Lifeproof cases finally available for the 6. Only available in black for now. Ordered mine this morning.
