Hey! Has anyone mounted their axe & shovel on a gun rack? I am trying to think of a good place to mount mine where they can't get stolen. I had a canopy on my last truck and mounted them in the bed, but I don't have a canopy now. I want to mount them securely, and I don't know if there is a kind of gun rack that actually secures what it is holding. Ideas? Thanks!:D

I don't see why this wouldn't work. I have an AC so I keep a waterproof lockable bin in the back jumpseats with everything including my axe in there. If I need to use the seats then I put the bin in the bed until I'm done with the seats.

You should definitely mount a really sharp axe in the cab. And a shovel while you're at it. I think we're gonna need some pics of this too. :D

I would do that, but I have two big dogs taking up the back seat most times I go out, so space is at a minimum in the cab.

Oz-t, I like your setup-it's even color-matched! Thanks for the suggestion. I have to admit, I like the idea of having mine out because I think it looks cool. I'll have to give it some more thought. Thanks!
