    I vote not worth it.

Either you never use them and you might as well have had running boards, or you scratch the pretty powder coating off and you might has well have rattle canned them.

I did think Gramps had a good idea when he got a rattle can of color match for something that was powder coated.

Guys with tragers you think this is a good deal, lil tex less than a year old. Rib racks, digital thermometer, and cover with some pellets for $650. It's my buddy so I know he's not lying about age.. He wants the big one.

Not worth it gets my vote too. Just get several cans of primer and severl cans of black and coat the shit out of them. That what I did with all my sliders I have had. Easy touch ups down the road if needed.

I bet they would have been cheaper if I didn't mess up the name. I did go to Pristine.

I was looking for a better base then what rattle cans seem to give. Paint flaking every year, I was tired of constant stripping and re painting. I guess I could have had them blasted and then paint from there. Raw steel, even with an etching primer seems to not stick well. I might try that with the bumpers on the Taco when I get them.

I am not happy with my duralast spray on liner that i used on my sliders that I just got welded on. I wish I had powder coated them first. Alas they are weld on so I'll be spraying them forever unless I grind them off

thats been in the works for a bit, geez these mods these days :D

i sprayed my sliders quickly with primer before ben welded them on, i then went wheeling, and drove home through snow and rain before painting them black and they have held up great, i just have to touch them up whenever they get scratched down to bare metal.

He already bought the big one. That 700 is a killer deal though but I don't feel I need that big of one for what I cook on a daily basis.

Oh yeah slap some armor on it give it a catchy name like "brownie" and it's easy 50k for a used taco.

    :p

I would rather have gramps truck to be honest. ;)

Couldn't I honestly build a better truck by putting 20k into mine?

    Even at full retail prices?

Hell, they're not even going to include the RTT

Oh I would imagine I could buy a used one and go nuts with full retail to get to 50k and have a bad ass truck that would have the RTT and super charger. :)

Yeah doesn't seem to work with sliders that well. PC is the best base coat. It will get scratched off on sliders that get used for sure but a simple rattle can touch afterwards goes a long way. My Slee Sliders were PC from Slee and have been awesome with just a touch up on the bare metal each year.

My rear bumper was welded on so I had no choice but to rattle can it. Damn thing rust quick and has to be sanded and repainted before each winter. My ARB up front which was PCed from ARB just gets a quick spritz on the scratches from hitting rock each year. The rest of it I have never touched and the backside is not rusting at all. It's about 6 years old.
You don't count. Why you ask... cause your slider design is awesome and does not trap the crap as much as a standard tube design slider. Ben needs to do some more marketing on those things cause they are bad ass.

It worked on my demello sliders just fine and both sets of my addicted sliders I had. Several coats of each. When I hit them I would clean them then hold a piece of cardboard against my vehicle then spray away. I used the engine enamel paint. Prior to putting them on you need to primer the shit out of them... I painted mine over several days.

I'd love to get an orange truck but I have a thing for orange.

I'd also be in there in a heartbeat for a TRD Pro if I could get a DCLB in a manual trans.

    Mall Crawlers don't count. :p

You could use a Sharpie on your sliders and they would not rust. :D
