Anyways, the point of the committee is to pick the 4 best teams and that's what they're trying to do so shit like ND getting in just because they were undefeated doesn't happen again.

There's your prime example that going undefeated only means so much if you're playing a bunch of puss balls.

Yeah the AP poll is the more respectable one at this point.

Lets just forget the beginning of the season. Hell who needs it lets start playing games in October instead.

FSU has started 39 different players this season… and still is 10-0. I guess injuries can only be considered if you lose (i.e. Oregon).

Also, if you're gonna take injuries into account then you have to take it into account with SOS. OkSt lost their starting QB and a few other players for the season this year. I can't imagine they would have only 5 wins if they still had starters. Same with Clemson and Watson… Clemson is a much better team with Watson than they are with Stoudt. Both of those games were supposed to be strong for FSU at the beginning of the season and obviously haven't panned out that way.

 

So you are saying if FSU had a quality loss, lets just say with the starting QB out and we lost a dog fight to Clemson we would be # 1 now. Dont ask me y but Im just not seeing it.

I'm talking about a contributing factor in losing a game, not losing a season.

Even with both guys out, BAMA pulled it together after that game. The OL has been reshuffled a number of times.

But yes, in theory the committee is supposed to be paying attention to that kind of stuff, i.e. the Ohio State situation with losing to VA Tech and then pulling their shit together with a new QB.

Their aim is to figure out who the best teams are at the end of the season. What happens before October doesn't really have as much bearing as the last 5-6 weeks unless it's something catastrophic. It never has mattered all that much. That's why rankings are always in flux.

When the FSU fans on here come to a understanding when they get a real schedule and play tuff teams every week and. Quit trying to blame the sec or espn I will start taking them a little more seriously

Charlie Strong definitely has y'all moving forward. The team seems to have improved as the year has progressed.

 

When trying to tell someone/people off, at least make sure you spell stuff correctly and use proper grammar.

I don't really think that will happen, but I've heard a remarkable number of talking heads bringing that up. Not sure why he would leave Texas to go to Florida. Seems like a backwards move to me.
