About the sky - Blue light scatters easier (lower energy) when it comes through the atmosphere. It's called the Tyndall effect or Rayleigh scattering. ....just saying....as a scientist.

The other have no empirical data that I am aware of.

Your roll cage answer here: http://www.throttledownkustoms.com

They do awesome work, they are based near me, about 18 miles away so you see their stuff everywhere. They are famous for their bumpers and frames but I've seen lots of roll cages done. I had them build a cage for my old CJ5 and it was well reinforced and sturdy. I wasn't worried about getting hurt if I rolled that thing I can tell you that!

Here is the cage they did in my old Jeep. Cost me 1800 but was worth every penny! I want them to build me a bumper for my Tacoma.
