Hey guys, long time lurker, around 2 years, and owner of a '13 AC OR 6 spd Nautical Blue taco for a over a year. Finally getting around to doing my first "mod". Where would you guys suggest getting 265/75/r16 duratracs mounted and balanced around the Baltimore area? I have read they can be tough to balance.

Welcome! I can't help much with the tires, but I'm sure someone can. I know we've got a few people who work at a shop, not sure if they have the capability to do it or not though.

How many do we have now? I thought there was only one more besides me? I'm kinda right in the center of the state, so I guess I'd be center Matt? :p

IF YOU HAVE NOT PURCHASED THEM YET DON'T GET DURATRACS.

Go with a better tire... I have them now and they are splitting like crazy. Next tire for me will be the cooper discoverer sst max's ... What a great tire those are.

How old are your tires? Cause I have duratreks now no snow to play in, but last year I was rolling around in 2wd with the roads covered. Now for playing I put it in 4WD but never had any issues with spinning. Of course they weren't even a year old at the time.

It won't let me upload the video. But I even had them when Steve recorded me driving over snow mounds at the MD Meet in Arundal Mills

Yes there's better tires out there but I'm happy with my duratreks. If I could I'd get the tires Steve has but they are like a paycheck a tire lol

I got mine mounted and balanced at Merchants, but their road hazard is really expensive. $33 a tire.

Sure did thanks. After I posted I remembered my 1st gen doesn't have build in side rails. But info is still good to have if I pull the trigger on drilling into the bed. I got to do something with my shovel. It bounces all over the place right now.
