I actually just bought my tacoma 2-3 weeks ago. Downsized from a big ass diesel truck. Once the new wears off I'd like to take the truck out and see how it does. Haspin Acres is about 1 hr 15 min from where I live. They have campgrounds and such. Been planning on making a weekend out of it but I've never got around to it. I've only lived her 2.5 years or so. Once I finish paying off my motorcycle i'll be getting a 4 wheeler and will probably live there.

Link goes to a log in screen for that fourm

Damn well that blows. Have you been on expedition portal? Its a cool site. If your interested in an overland style camping trip right in your back yard its worth creating a log in. I didn't realize that it was member only. Jeff created a loop in southern Ky that's mostly dirt roads and some are a little challenging. There are a few hard spots but they have by passes if needed.

Where at in southern KY? I'm originally from Bowling Green. There's actually an overland series on youtube. That stuff looks right up my alley. Have to check it out now!

I love Haspin Acres. Great times and memories, plus for an off road park it is probably the most affordable with access and camping all included! I sure as heck wouldn't be taking the tacoma there for any other reason than hauling said toys that I no longer have. :( took to much physical abuse to continue that life style! I've broken my wrist, blew out my knee, lost my truck at the bottom of valley, crushed larynx, blown crap up, blew out the other knee, got lost, woke up covered in 3" of snow and the list goes on. Best day was making it up Devils Backbone on this... not exactly the best for off road but it actually did quite well. Plus it was FAST as all get out and loved to FLY High!
