There's 4 levels, Entune Audio, Etune Audio Plus, Entune Premium w/ App Suite & Navi and Entune Premium JBL w/ App Suite & Navi. None of my training material is saying that you can play DVD/Blueray in the Premium JBL, although I know you used to be able to. I will keep digging

Amber.... I prefer straight orange but man is it hard to find good orange lights.
Trying to decide how horrible it would look to do an orange headlight mod instead of black.... Haha

I have the Entune Premium JBL w/ App Suite & Navi and it does not appear to be able to play DVDs. I have been scouring the manual to see if it is covered but nothing yet.

I found this on the Entune site:

    CD/DVD 13
Play traditional CDs, MP3 and WMA files. For even more multimedia options, Premium HDD Navigation with Entune® App Suite includes an in-dash DVD player 13 that allows you to watch DVDs when the vehicle is parked.

I was gonna say. I have a non JBL Entune/Nav headunit out of a '14 in my '11. It doesnt play DVDs. I burned a few DVDs at work and put them in my truck bring home. I got curious and tried playing them in the truck with no luck.

I like my Entune/Nav radio. Its a huge upgrade from the stock '11 radio. For what I paid for it, I couldnt buy an aftermarket double din navigation radio.

Most of the pioneer units need a relay or a toggle switch to replicate activating the parking brake. Almost all others can just be grounded. I have one of each, kenwood was much easier to do.

I saw your post and then went to my 2015 manual which says nothing (that I could find) regarding DVDs. I found what I posted on the Entune site.
