    :woot: Hey Cheech!

Glad to read about the stalled lava ... huge relief for many I'm sure.

Take it easy on that back for a while and enjoy the tradewinds ... I remember my one visit how refreshing those are. Take care man! :)

    Morning Ken
I'm guessing those have some pretty strict specifications ... you'll need an extended Thanksgiving break ... don't forget you set your own schedule. ;)

KC-10 crew just decided they'd long ground versus quick turning ... so now they'll get to carry my opportune cargo south with them tomorrow evening. Waiting for the Ramp guys to build a few pallets so we can get it load planned. Actually I just got one of my guys pointed in the right direction on it, he hasn't done a KC-10 for a while and needs the practice. So I'm back to my coffee and TW. It's a tough gig. :D

Morning Rob, sounds like an easy night for you.:). That's always good. I saw this picture and was wondering how long it took them to dig their car out ...

Wondered the same ... but also why not get it off the roof ... hazard for the car behind them when it lets loose. :notsure: Not too different from the peephole drivers.

 Morning cool old dudes and dudettes. Hello Cheech! I believe I may be new to the group since you last posted. Hope your back is better today. We have had our share of back issues around here lately! Glad to hear the lava has stalled. It must really be something, like a very slow moving forest fire.

I'm going to defend the guy with the snow on his car. If I had to dig out from under that much snow, I'd take every opportunity to move it by some means other than a snow shovel. I have to believe he was just going down the street to dump it in a stream or valley.

Morning all! Just sitting here waiting for daylight and wondering what the weather has in store for the day. Today is a day off, so no rain=work outside & rain=work inside. House work or yard work, it's all fun.

There just seems like there is no brick and mortar processing centers like the old days up into the 1930's. We need one in Arizona, Texas, or California.

I would be willing to bet you that if all the people that want to immigrate to the USA were millionaires there would be no problems and the process would take a few hours. The fees would be quite steep. ;)

FWIW the leadership in both the House and the Senate has not changed since 2007. What makes us think anything will actually happen or change. To me it will be two more years of the same old poop.

    Unfortunately, I think you're right Tom. :(

IMO We need a viable third party between the two politically, but that will never happen because all the money is lined up and corrupting the two existing parties. :frusty:

This is why I try to stay out of politics anymore, it just frustrates the hell out of me. :frusty:  and ultimately extremely :(

Which is another problem. Back in the day the immigrants came by boat and not a place. From Europe you came in to NYC and were processed there. As a country we needed people to settle in the open spaces of the country which a lot of them ended up doing. Today all of the land is owned and that is not an option.

Also our country has changed from a country the makes "stuff" to a mostly service country. I am pleased to see the large number of small businesses that are starting to do business. Corporate America has begun to lose its appeal with workers. Politics in the corporate company are worse than on Capital Hill. Just my opinion nothing more nothing less.

    Hi all!

The back is still not better, so I was entertaining the idea of going out to play golf tomorrow. But that would not be good for the rest of the guys in my group, as they would have to wait a few minutes for me to get out of the cart, straighten out the back and try to hit the ball. Would also have to get someone to tee it up for me.

Charlie, I shouldn't be complaining about my back after all what you've been through. Hope you're getting better. Well, you HAVE to get better so you can make that trip over here! I am sure you will enjoy going to the Big Island, as it is very rural and full of natural beauty.(except where the damn lava has covered)

Maby they could transport the snow from Buffalo, and dump it on the lava flow to try to stop it!
OOPS! Now I'm thinking like some of those OTHER PEOPLE! It's best not give them any more ideas on ways to waste money, seems like they are pretty good at it without my help. :( :D

Cheech! Me thinks it's best you don't play golf until the back is better!

Any of you guys know which carpet cleaner soap is better than the others? Been using some bissell stuff, but thought I'd ask and see if you'd found a better one

You guys take care of your backs...

Hi Sue, the missus was tired of not getting the carpet clean so she mixed up a little OxyClean with hot water and did the carpet over again and lo and behold the suction water came up looking like mud:eek:. She did a lll then across then lll then across again. Then once with clean warm water as a rinse. It was a lot of work, but the carpet was clean :D.

Take care of the back cheech. Golf should be out for awhile till it gets better. Are you taking anything for it:confused:...

Hey Charlie, hadn't heard from you for a day or two and thought you had more major issues:eek:. Sorry to hear your still having a lot of pain, hopefully a second opinion will shed some light on the problem.

Too early in the a.m. to :rant:about immigration, but something needs to be done  before it's too late.

Good way to plan Mike. Sitting here thinking of what I need to do. The list is long but it more depends on "what do I feel like doing":D..there's always tomorrow.

Folex works really well in the rental carpet cleaning machines. I am renting one today from Lowes. I usually clean the downstairs carpets this time of the year. I usually do the entire house right before Easter.

Forgot to add that Lowes and Home Depot have Folex in the handy gallon jug for less than $20.

    Good morning Ken.
