Johnny if and when you start looking to do a build be sure to look at Bravo Company. They are a top tier company with great products and customer service

Awesome! My problem, if I have more, I'll keep building. I need to finish this one and be done for a while. Might even sell off the other lower I have. It's a 'ghost gun' special addition lower.
Just the lower or if we buy a complete firearm. Parts are fine.
John, definitely build your own. It's a lot of fun. I have the specialty tools y need for the upper if you want to have a build day.
Just like taking a leak, don't go into the wind... And I don't want to hear about wind complaints, I spent my last 3 days 13 stories up doing a roof inspection. Cold as hell up there.
I thought you upstate Maniacs were tougher than that... I guess that state is going soft also.
Awesome! I have the R1S, love it!

.22lr .45 acp and 300 h&h magnum... little size comparison.

I got the r1 enhanced. Not gonna be able to shoot it for a couple weeks though...

My friend owns a shop, in RI, he gave me a really good deal on the gun and ammo. But it means he has to ship it to my local firearms store... which might take a week. Oh well. It's worth it.

You can easily blow through 1,000 rounds of 22 in a weekend. That's not really all that much if you shoot even semi-regularly.
That's awesome, so yours will already have the beaver tail, right? I put a couple goodies on mine. I bought a few new mags, magpul grips and a new magwell and backstrap.

    Nice.
I was tossing around the R1 when I stumbled across my Ruger. Price was so nice I couldn't pass it up. Plus the Ruger had an extended beavertail, which is something I would have put on it anyway.

Do you have a .308 yet?

Too many Massholes moving in to retire; they're wussing up the joint.

Ended my hunting season in Ky with dad getting a smaller 9 point. (More meat, better shot) As we were going in the woods taking 3 of our 5 stands out in 6" of snow we saw the biggest 11 point buck... Of course... Thought I had him on the trail cams.. The cold was to much for the batteries. 2 of them died before he walk by and the 3rd was in my truck already.
Glad to see a very mature buck to populate the area for next year thou.

While I'd not want to be doing that job, bear in mind in addition to my sheer and unbridled hatred of winter I am adjusting to less poundage.

Yeah! Extended beaver tail, Skelton hammer and trigger which I think I'll change it for something more classic, fiber optic front sight, comes with three mags. Perry excited!

Sorry, but that 4Runner's definitely copping a squat.

Congrats on the new boomstick; what did you end up getting for a make/model?

    Who's Perry?

Not as much squat as a taco though.

I got the Savage Axis .308 lefty without optics. I'm gonna add rails and a sight when money allows
