let all be honest though, if your neighbor had a flame thrower, you'd go out and ask if you could use it, or call the cops cause he's a crazy a$$hole. Theres not a lot of middle ground there.

 

I can't say I wouldn't have done the same thing. People are prolly on the verge of flipping their shit out there, so much cabin fever and snow blindness, possibly running out of beer I imagine. Quite the crises...

 

That's why I stay fully stocked, just in case I get snowed in.

 

Down here, Dragon Man has an event every year where he lets you shoot things like a flame thrower. Gotta pay of course.


I want to plow like this someday, would take forever but would totally be worth it.

Useless information on this - cities and CDOT have used large dump truck looking truck that melt snow too. Essentially a front loader dumps snow into the truck and it has burners under the bed (powered by propane) and they melt the snow into water. This helps cities get rid of large amounts of snow that they may have removed from roads and piled up in parking lots. My father in law who runs traffic in Englewood rented one a few years back when we got that large snow storm. They had a bunch snow piled up in the water park parking lot. Used the machine there.

 

i remember all that snow piled up in that parking lot.. interesting how they melt it like that..learn something new everyday
