Can you improve on the sound of a supercharger? Haha I would think it'd make note sense to have CAI for supercharger.

Good question, as I've read bits and pieces that the warranty will void if an aftermarket CAI is utilized with this particular supercharger. I've seen pics of an install with a TRD CAI and supercharger, but I could not verify if it was done with Toyota's approval.[/QUOTE]
I think AWF ROAD has the TRD CAI the the SC.
Toyota does not approve and most dealerships won't install the two together.

Just the TRD ones, but even then they won't mix the TRD CAI with the TRD S/C.

Do they have an actual rain besides that they just don't like it? Does it make it perform worse?

This does not seem like a wise idea... heh. I'd end up in the ditch if I tried that, or worse, into on-coming traffic.

Just called my friend up at the shop...here's what he said:

The "flash" program for the on-board computer that comes with the "Fit Kit" is tuned for a Tacoma with stock intake. Once the S/C programs are flashed into the computer, there is no re-flashing back to stock if you change your mind about running the blower. An aftermarket CAI could alter the program by introducing more air into the system than what it is designed/programmed for. In fact, the TRD S/C is designed to run with the supplied K&N replacement air filter.

Interesting. Thanks for finding that out man I really appreciate it. I guess that makes sense. Is that similar to retuning the MAF sensor for a CAI?
Sorry for all the questions.. I love learning things though. Haha

No problem....but yeah, I think that is correct. If a different intake was installed, you'd probably end up having to take the truck to a "tuner" in order to get the S/C lined-up with the different intake set-up. Just my thoughts on this matter.
