I'm doing cartwheels today. I FINALLY figured out where Tasty Vapor gets their popcorn flavoring from! I've searched and searched, and got a sample size from one last vendor and it's the stuff! I knew it as soon as I opened it and gave it a sniff. Every other brand I tried tasted like burnt plastic, but this stuff is the bomb. It's strong, too, so the 4oz bottle of concentrate I have coming in the mail should last a loooooong time.

So I went and bought new cotton today, I bought the "organic" stuff from Walgreens and after doing my new build I read the back and it says whitened with peroxide. Is that anything to worry about?

I don't like the US organic cotton because they taste odd, and peroxide is not harmful to inhale but i don't think it will taste very good.

Just boil it. Peroxide is an oxidizer, or a "safe" bleach, and most of it is removed after the bleaching process. If you boil this stuff first and then dry it real good, you won't have to worry about it. Hydrogen peroxide is just water with an extra oxygen molecule, but that extra molecule is what makes it the oxidizer and changes its properties.

Man i love 0.2 range builds, blows huge clouds and still safe enough that my battery doesn't heat up too bad.

So here is my review for the Vox orchid v2.5
First impression, this thing is pretty slick looking, okay machining for 20 bucks, and the deck is deff a lot better to build on than most RBA i've seen. Hold tons of juice, but here are my two problems with this atty.
    1. Air flow. The 2 inlets are decent size and they go from the side of the base to the middle of the deck right under where the coils will be built, but i wish the intake would be bigger, but that does not even matter because the diameter of the chimney is what restrict the airflow, you can drill out the deck but the chimney is too thin to modify so you just have to live with it.

    2. juice flow, i vape max vg or 70?30 vg/pg mostly and it vapes like crap, dry hits all the time, so for this device to work you have to use at least 50/50 juice, and your coils can't be too small, i built mine at .32 single "old school"coil and it hit's pretty good for a tank.
This is the style of coil i put in there

Overall great device, if you vape pg juice then you are golden, air flow is more of a personal matter. device is nice, it produce tons of flavor and for 20 bucks you get yourself a allday atty that doesn't need refill every 10 hits.

Until someone comes out with an RBA like this which allows big open draws and doesn't leak because of it, I'm going to hold out. I like the big dual deck on this and some other newer models, but the air flow thing is a deal breaker. Someday...

Maybe the rayon would wick better on this setup than cotton? It's in the mail this morning, so maybe give it a try and see if it solves your dry hit issue.

Amen. My latest builds have all been 0.2 and they hit great. With dual battery setup, your batteries will always run cool and safe. Single battery setup is pushing the threshhold of safety, depending on the battery, at this ohmage or below.

yeah im getting a box mod, decide to have my friend build it since he said to hook me up for 70 bucks.

Edit: wow my buddy ended up charging me 60 shipped, i don;t know about box mods but that seems super cheap.

Depending on how it's built and what it has, it's a decent price. Dual battery? Diameter of the 510 connector? Voltmeter? Recharger port? Solid copper wiring/contacts?

Which mosfet chips? Just diodes for polarity protection?

Those Hammond aluminum boxes have a slant to them. Depending on which model he got, I hope it stands up straight. The ones I tried were all slightly beveled, designed to sit flat and not stand on edge.

Sorry for the questions, but I love this stuff. I like to see how everyone builds differently.

What amazes me is I only run a button rated at 3A yet I don't use a mosfet. I could get more power by not running direct through the switch, but using the mosfet instead as a gate. I haven't had any issues at all not using a mosfet, but maybe I'm just lucky. The button or wiring to it stays ice cold even after hitting it a few times. I'm pulling 22A through a 3A button
