So I got this off ebay, description was box opened but brand new. The box was trashed. The lip around the edge is separating up at one side. All the plastic is there and some crazy glue should hold it back in place. And the seal will fit back in place no problem. Plus the clamping of the whole thing will hold it in place while it's in.

Or should I pay the shipping to return it. It cost me 60bucks.

Oh also there's no identifying marks saying it's afe on the filter, just the box. A little worrisome.

With complaints like that eBay will usually make the seller give you a full refund often including return shipping. Ebay is all about the buyer nowadays.

At the least I bet you can get the seller to give you a partial refund and you could keep it. Send him an email.

It seems that someone bought an AFE filter, put the stock one back into the box, and sold it to you.

Well that's fucked lol. Only my Second scam on eBay and I shop online alot! First thing I thought though is how is this different? Never having a washable filter before.

Ebay/PayPal is good though, I'll get my money back with little hassle. It's to the point these days where it's actually easier to scam the seller.

I'll stick with Amazon though for my afe filter now, I need one asap

I love tacomaworld, Damn rights I'll be posting everything. Just gotta lose all my money at this casino, drink my PBR and I'll post the item

heres the listing. Now that Im on a computer I can clearly see its completely different then in the picture. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/201204414350?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2648

    heres the seller http://www.ebay.ca/sch/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ssn=hemlocksales15162&_pgn=2&_skc=50&rt=nc

0 negative feedback, and 90 car parts for sale right now. Maybe he was scammed just the same but regardless, I started the disputes on ebay, and emailed him.

Thanks for the heads up guys.
