So today I went out to run some errands and after walking out to my truck and something doesn't quite look right as I'm walking up to it. Getting closer I get the first hand look at what appears to be a botched attempt to steal the fender flares. The fronts were taken almost all the way off as well as the rears. All the little retainers are busted and a few of the mounting points on the rears are broken off. Surprise the cameras in the lot "are just for looks". As of now they are sitting inside my house. Where's a good place to find the clips bolts. Thinking I may be able to reattach the broken pieces with some fiber glass or other epoxy. May even fixem up and take them down to be linexed.

You can get the body clips at any parts store. I would use a good two part epoxy to stick the pieces back together and then do a couple layers of fiberglass to bond and strengthen the part. You could also get replacements at the junkyard. I haven't locked the doors on my truck for several years. Cities are full of vermin, you should move to the country. It will restore your faith in humanity.

Good idea with the epoxy and the glass. I choose the country life over city life any day of the week. Just had to run into town to get a few things and received a wonwonderful reminder of the down side of humanity. Checked the auto part stores in town and they only carry the ltitle two packs and only one of each the red and blue clips. Thinking I may have to order them online. But the flairless look is kinda growing on me may just plug the hole and run it that way.

The county that Jack Daniels is distilled, Moore, is a dry county.
    Go figure.

I can have faith in a specific person. But people? No way. Sorry you're having to go through this. People are dangerous.

That's not entirely true, you can purchase whiskey by the barrel at the distillery. It's interesting to note there are roughly 240 bottles per barrel, you taste test and find the right one and they bottle it up. Of course, you get to keep the barrel as well.

They all sell beer but only a few sell liquor. They're allowed to sell it by the drink but not by the bottle. And the jack Daniels place gets away with it because they sell "commemorative" bottles that happen to contain whiskey.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
People will steal anything just to do it, people just suck, period. Tacoma tailgates are a high theft item, but I've never heard of fender flares being targeted until now.

Back in my Jeepin' days, there were a lot of guys on JeepForum who had problems with thieves stealing their doors off their Wranglers, the hard factory steel doors, not the soft top kind.
