    I can legally own and possess a handgun at 18 in FL. I keep it in my truck, never leave home w/o it. Only thing I can't do is conceal carry it(unless I'm going fishing, hunting, camping, or to the range), buy one from a dealer, and buying ammo is somewhat difficult. I tell them it's for a carbine and some dealers will sell to me. There is a case in court right now to legalize open carry in FL which would be my only option for carrying.

    Nope. Totally different motor. I am 100000000% sure it was a 3.6L

    The 3.8 was a much better motor IMO.

    Yup. The 3.6 was limited less than that but i never even tried it. I babied that piece of shit.

    Although I think Toyota is trying to make the 4runner the more "off-road capable SUV" and the FJ is it's biggest competition.

    None that's the problem. That's why jeep is going IFS. That's why Land Rover went fully independent and EVEN took out low range. People want comfort over capability

    As much as it sucks, I understand why it's happening. Why produce a full line of vehicles for a niche market when you can produce something that will sell more to the average consumer?

    I like them. Don't knock it unless you've driven it. The blind spot isn't bad.

    I almost bought one instead of the Tacoma, but after wheeling with them I'm glad I didn't. The shorter wheel base doesn't sit well with me.

    Because it's the first thing everybody seems to talk about on the FJ even though they haven't driven it, but whatever.

    I never noticed it to be any worse than an extended cab Tacoma :notsure:
