Pro isn't worth it for the Tacoma. It's really quite lame in my opinion.

But I want the touchscreen and nice stereo (dependent on what it sounds like) otherwise I can upgrade later.

 

Then just get entune plus, its touchscreen. Sound isnt anything amazing but its not bad. But i also came from an upgraded system in the last car

 

I like them, but would never buy one. I would be changing out everything the TRD Pro comes with anyways.

I've never seen a stock radio that I liked either, so I never want the upgraded audio either.

I want a truck for a daily driver, but it just isn't realistic....

 

Yeah, and I should say that loosely because really Toyota has never been super awesome with sound systems. Though from our 96 to my 98 Tacoma was a HUGE improvement...back when they actually listened to their customers.

We got to talk to the main Tacoma designers personally back in 2001. Could barely understand them but they listened to everyones feedback

That's exactly how I feel. I'd still take everything that makes it a Pro right off for different stuff.

Although I rarely drive far enough to bother turning them on.

 

Though the one thing I do like about the Pro is that it's kind of a TRD Sport with a locker. Has the scoop and blinky mirrors that I want haha

While i wouldnt mind the turn signal mirrors, i dont particularly care for them that much.

 

I don't love or hate leather.

Looks nicer, but I'm not going to go out of my way to get a vehicle with it.

Actually Texas has the most bipolar weather. We skipped fall and went straight to winter last week. And today was heavy rain w/ thunderstorms

We get spring, summer and winter(what we call winter) coldest I have experienced in san antonio without the windchill was 16 degrees it also snowed we got about an inch but the most san antonio has ever got was like 15 or 16 inches and that was in the 80s lol
No snow where we are this winter yet, we live south of the hill country, it turns into a desert pretty much, but up north by Amarillo and those areas might have had some already( but I don't know for sure).
