    I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
    I unboxed my panels today to check them out. They look well built and they are about 1/8" thin! I don't have a controller yet so I can't hook thanks up to rin some tests. Once I get a controller I'll hook them up and run some tests to see what I'm getting out of them.

    Not telling you, WHAT or WHAT NOT TO DO with your truck. I'm telling you it's a WASTE of money buying these cheap panels. And mounting them in an unrecommended way.

    I earn my living installing reliable efficient systems, from reliable vendors. Not only that, every single client has a huge grin when their system is complete. And the electric company basically gets the shaft.

    It's kind of retarded when your strong point revolves around driving a relatively inefficient truck; while as a hobby in that vehicle, wasting more gas driving to distant rural locations to eventually run an efficient system thats main use is to procure frosty drinks and secure all the needless gadgets you have from draining your battery enough to drive back home. All the while ragging on me because my super efficient/light weight generator runs on gas.

    I have purchased some of the Goalzero portable options and they work really well for backpacking. I bet some of the larger panels would do great for what you are looking for.

    The pv market is flooded with crap. PV works, but it doesn't help the tech by buying cheap chinese crap.
