So, on the subject of coilovers. Here's what I've decided so far. ADS looks nice, but there aren't enough people running them, and getting information out of vendors is proving to be difficult.

ORI's are sweet, but there's a lot of tuning that has to be done to make them work right. They're also the most expensive option. You're looking at $2,000 just for the front coilovers. That's after you add the remote reservoirs, nitrogen fill kit, nitrogen bottle, and filling the bottle. I don't think that's gonna happen.

I've pretty much ruled FOX out.

It looks like it's going to come down to KINGS and ICONS. Looks like the better price will be on the ICONS though.

If I had the cash to pony out for shocks when I was doing my suspension, I'd buy the icons with resis. Resis get you laid.
    :anonymous:

I also saw users report a lot of rusting issues with fox shocks.

Yeah, I saw that as well. Using steel for the shock and resi just isn't a good idea. Just trying to find the best price at the moment.

Oh, and ORI's have an 8-10 week lead time.

Let me rephrase that. Not enough weekend warriors running ADS. I haven't found a single website that has a buy it now button for an ADS coilover for our trucks.

Hadn't found that listing. They're priced the same as Kings.

Just have to try and save a little money. Everyone is going to be running their Black Friday sales next week so I'll hold off until I see who has the best price on what. Shipping times will definitely play a factor as well.

    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
ADS is out of tucson, so I say fuck icon and fox and kings... go ADS... Have you read thru the ADS thread here? http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/su...g-shocks-suspension-information-pictures.html

Talk to Stefen, t4c0ch40s for his opinion on them.

DSM carries the line I believe as well as MCM.
