Hi all.. I have an 07 Manual v6 AC with 35k on odometer.. My problem is that the motor bogs down at low rpms.. I took it to the dealer under warranty a year
Ago and they found nothing wrong. It has slowly gotten worse.. It now does it
When I start the truck.. With no load on the motor...As soon as I turn the key with truck in neutral and clutch in, the motor starts and makes a bogging down sound.. Rpms stay around 700.. I have cleaned the maf as well as the throttle body. As soon as rpms get above 1000 it goes away.. Any ideas out there?

What is a bogging down sound? If it is running at 700 RPM it is not bogging down.

    Post an audio clip.

Bogging down as in... you let the clutch out and it starts to stall..
the noise it makes just before it stalls out..

Stop running mexican gas and find some non ethanol premium. If that doesn't work install a supercharger.

How would you adjust idle... I thought the ecu controls that function..

    Let me get this straight.

You do not have any CEL Codes.

You say it " sounds " like it is bogging down, but the RPM is steady at 700 RPM at Idle.

If the idle is steady at 700 RPM idling, it isn't bogging down.

So without any further information I doubt anyone will be able to help. Think about posting an audio clip or something.

And you are correct the idle cannot be adjusted and is controlled by the ECU.

I do not have a CEL or codes.. I looked again and the the rpm does fluctuate as it bogs down.. It happens with no load on the tranny.. The odd thing is, It does it on start up as well.. once I get going it runs fine. Just does it at low rpms... if I just sit it idles just fine...

What is the "bogging down" sound? You say it goes away at 1000 rpms. Normal idle is somewhere around 700. Does it have a loss of power? Like someone else said, try to get some video of the tachometer fluctuating and try to get the bogging sound.
