No. I just got out of rehab 2 months ago after 2.5 years and will always live with disability but, I'm alive and shouldn't be. Just got my license back a month ago.
Nice to be back on TW.

They all do that. It's the RSCA switch... every 4x4 has it.

OP, did the engine even started after you got the truck upright? You may have other issues mechanically besides body damage to deal with. I hope it gets totaled for your sake. IMO, the ideal situation is totaled and option to buy it back cheap to fix.

I don't know what " Industry " you work in, but here in SC they repair vehicles all the time with deployed air bags.

If the company you work for has a "policy" to total a car just based on the airbag deployment they must really suck. What company? I want to make sure I never use them.

Black ice is a bitch....not much can save your butt once you get on ice but do not use cruise control and keep a very light touch on the pedals.

Aside from the damage that occured from the tipping itself how did you go about getting the truck right side up again? If you just pulled it back onto the tires and didn't try to cushion the landing there could be additional damage to the suspension, etc from that. Another TW member did a 3/4 roll with his truck and when they pulled the truck upright again with a tow strap it messed up the suspension when the truck landed again - blew the shock and broke the leaf pack IIRC.
At the very least not only are you looking at the body damage but there could be a lot of unseen damage to everything underneath too depending on how you skidded...warped wheels, every nut and bolt and seal in the suspension and axle are probably damaged too.

Glad you're OK. The antilock brakes on these trucks leave a lot to be desired in my opinion.

What transmission do you have? If it's a six speed and they total it I'd be interested in buying the tranny since mine has started acting up.
