Congrats man. Pictures don't do that color any justice. Saw that color at the dealer on a tundra pro and it is a sweet color.

Looking Good! What aspect ratio 285's did you put on? Nice to hear that they cleared....wish Toyota had at least put the 265 / 75's on as OE like the Pre Production Pro's were wearing. Should be about 3 weeks for my Pro to get here!

    So you're fitting a 33/11.50 on a stock pro?

I'm new to this, so make sure my math is correct.

    285mm = 11.22" width
    11.22 * .75 = 8.415 wall height
    8.415(2) + 16" = 32.83"

So yes. It fits on a stock pro. I played all day with it and never heard or felt a rub.

Keep us posted on how they work out....would be interesting to see if they clear when they are really stuffed (or did you find some places to really cross things up)....I was planning on getting 265/75/16 for a full 32" tire, be nice that these fit also!

There is nothing special about the pro that is going to make a 285 fit without rubbing plain n simple. Flex the bitch out and you will start to pop fender flares n rub your cab mount.

Very cool pics.....the PRO looks great doing its thing.

I am such a wannabe, the closest my new AC got to mud so far was parking next to a flower bed.

    Question about wheel-ring removal?

When you remove the rings, are the holes where the ring goes in place black? or are the silver spots in this photo what it looks like when you put the bolts or screws on in place of the ring?

PS I hope what I'm asking makes sense? I have no other way of describing what I'm asking.

I did not know the rings came off. And I have to agree 285s will fit but they are going to rub flexed out. In less the pro sets higher then the baja.

Most likely 100% accurate. I am not a hard core off-roader & probably never will be. With the trails and obstacles I was comfortable doing, the tires did not rub. So just like the pro, the 285s work for me.

    I understand completely.

Yes, what you are seeing is the rings off with no screws. I tried to find some black socket caps or black set screws to fill the holes in the right length (3/8" and thread, M8 1.0) but couldn't with only minimal effort.

So, I plastidipped the rings and hand "sharpie'd" each screw head & reinstalled.

You can see the result here in my build section: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2n...oma-trd-pro-access-cab-build.html#post9480206

You should bookmark my build page. I will have the best Tacoma AC in ALL the land. :)
