Great time as always. Good seeing everyone again and meeting some new faces. Can't believe some of that ice. Thought for sure I was submerging the truck in that last pic.

When I took the dog out this frigid morning I was thinking you guys would have some issues with the ice out there... I always cringe when breaking through that shit.. Why the hell would you guys try the Frog Hole?!? Lol

Pissed I missed this trip, haven't gotten out in a while

Hey Andrew I'll keep you posted about next wk, might be doable... Aaand you'd fit right it now with the FJ crew!

No worries Tyler. I was following your build thread and wishing that I could get that done plus my regular shit and go wheeling on top. I am not immune to Murphy's laws either. We did the froghole earlier this year so we only missed it iced up.

Damn remember how much water was on those trails that trip!?! Breaking through thick ice sucks, always afraid I'm gonna sever a brake line or bust a fog light.. Think I'll stay in the rocks, leave the mud and ice to the Heeps :p

Lol, see I am the opposite. Mud, water, and ice don't bother me. It's the rocks and off-camber that I don't like.

Well rocks certainly aren't forgiving!!! But I guess that's what I like bout it; technical, challenging, and no room for error..

Also why I've invested in 400# of armor lol

I'm with you, at least you know what you're getting into with rocks. That water and mud is sneaky.

Yeah, that was a good trip. I remember backtracking near the frog hole too, I got all mixed up where the trails crossed.
I remember a trip to Shamokin with ice where someone cut a valve stem breaking through. You get out on 2 inches of ice, just beyond tow strap range and CRACK, WHOOSH, you drop straight down to the axles.
As for mud, the pucker factor for me is when I'm ten feet from the end of the puddle/pond and I gong a submerged stone.

I prefer to think of the ice as "Ice Road Yotas", just not as deadly.lol

Yeah, I got both rocker panels  ... drivers side I'll fix so the door opens and closes right, passenger side doesn't really affect anything.
