Well i mean you can just look at any LT 2nd gen and see that the rear glass is wider by a lot and that it doesn't slope back to stock width till the very end.

So the place it'll look the worst is right behind the rear tire case it'll be a peak flare out and the bumper will be sucked in 2'' from the fender.

Yea who the hell knows what i'm going to do if I move up to 35's... a swingout would be handy for that full spare. I think my next tires are going to be the toyo open country R/T's This weather recently has had me puckering way more than I ever did with duratracs. MTRs are sketchy just like any other MT. Tough though since they kick ass any other time of the year. Too bad WY winters are pretty long and not so awesome or id just deal with it.

you see NYCOs bushwackers Gage? those worked pretty well for him tucking his 35's.

YES! 35s!!! DO IT DO IT DO IT!

Toyo RTs huh? ill have too look at those..

I really like the MTRs. Be interested to see if i get to drive on the snow/ice with them. I wanna see how they do compared to the KM2s.

I'll probably stick with MTRs i think when i get new ones. Which hopefully won't be for a while cause..37s are expensive..haha

I don't love the look of bushwackers. They work for me on some trucks and not on a lot of others. Bobs pulls it off good though.

I honestly love how baby taco looks now with the poking out tires :anonymous: and no flares. Clean look to me..

Bushwackers don't give any additional coverage. Unless he has something else. I might just do what Monte did and leave the rear alone and put glass up front.

The MTR's are stupid sketchy at highway speeds with ice and blowing snow. Up in the mountains I have enjoyed them quite a bit. Its hard to explain to my roommate that his truck isn't better but that my fat MTRs are going to slide more than his skinny BFG AT's haha.

I really like the look too. It's just annoying when the mud gets in my truck. I doubt ill ever buy glass though. It's just nice to dream haha. Maybe ill get my fenders back on soon.

Honestly..least for me..the front glass didn't help cover my tires really haha still stick out 1/2'', i mean..look at my sig pic haha

gonna be worse with the LT..

And the bushwackers would at least give you back the 1.5'' of coverange the stock ones had originally..

I wonder if they are worse then the KM2s..

Screw leave it! I like the look..course..im bias..

    also..happy page 600 peeps haha

I doubt they are worse. Probably close to the same. I was going about 65 up a hill and the wind caught me on an ice patch. Blew my ass end into the other lane and freaked me out. Glad I didn't have the RTT on to catch even more of that wind haha.

Sick, looking forward to a review. They are good looking but I think just to "big" if thats the right word for it. I would rather have the hatch still.

I do miss my 3.4..The new 4.0 in the runner does have some great pep to it, but with all my armor I definatly feel the weight alot more. MPGS suck and it really kicks into overdrive on hills. That being said, Ive been impressed with the 4.0 compared to the 3.4.

    the 4.0 ain't bad.

Gears will keep the OD from kicking in..least it should. Don't you have it regeared?

my dads on 4.56s with 34'' tires but also boosted (major boosted ) so his doesn't kick into OD much at all anymore.

Ya, 4.88's. So its get plenty of power taking off, but not as much in the high range. When I graduate and have money I thought I would go 35, but I think a nice mid travel set up will be enough for me.

I would love to boost it, but its kinda a pain to do on these 4runners with the 4.0. All the same stuff as the tacoma but not as much room for piping I guess. Eventually I will do a custom set up like a few guys on t4r run, but the trd ones just dont work.

hadn't heard of the trds not working..only "piping" you need is for the coolant to the mini resi for the intercooler in the blower...Should be the same exact thing otherwise..

Kinda odd you think its lacking on the upper end. May think about doing exhaust.

    35s and mid travel ;)

It is an STI minus a few things pretty much in wagon form. They are awesome haha get a few parts here and there and swap suspension and brakes and bam. Full blown STI..but a wagon.

    So cool.

I'll have to dig for the thread that explained it. It was some sort of fitment issue. I was beyond confused about it.

Ok so its a computer issue, and intercooler fitment if you add that in. Apparently a few people have made it work and you can do a special order to get it.

    http://www.toyota120.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21937

That rig has a URD charger instead.

35's with mid would be pretty bitching...
