How about this Toytech 5100 coilover kit is it a good kit?

    Hello everybody

    This is my first post on hear and the info i have found is great, but i was wondering if any one has used or know of someone using the 5100 coilover kit from toytech?http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/3-lift-kit-with-Bilstein-5100 Front-Coilovers_p_364.html I have a stock 06 SR5 TRD sport and i want to lift it but not have to change the factory ride to much is this a good kit?

    You can, but you probably won't be able to get your alignment back in spec and you'll feel like you're on roller skates

    If you don't want to change the factory ride you might want to consider selling the single leaf aal before you install it, they can be stiff. Go with with a three leaf progressive aal from Wheelers or Icon. I'm very happy with my Wheelers aal.

    i put a aal and that was the only thing that i was bummed about it makes it ride like a tank but the front toytect 5100 coil over are amazing!!!!!!! my old billys where so bad compared to the new 5100s. this is my hunting rig so it gets a work out up hear on the mountain so i am very impressed with the toytec products i got but i will say if you want a better ride Go with with a three leaf progressive aal.

    Looks nice, one suggestion though. Get rid of the Bull bar they cause more damage than the protect. Had one on my 2010 and tapped someone's bumper going about 7 mph. Buckled and crushed my bumper, causing more damage than if I didn't have it.
