I'd be interested in that S&W if I hadn't just blown my Bang Budget for the next couple of months on that Ruger.
It's the same design as my 5906, and I absolutely love that gun. Of course, I'm very quickly falling for my Ruger, too. If it wasn't x-mas shopping season I'd have put considerably more than the 200 rounds I've dumped through it so far.
It's a lot of fun throwing boulders downrange instead of rocks.

 

What 38 did she have? My wife's been thinking about getting a 38 spl - pink of course. I thought about a mid-size frame S&W. Gotta have an external hammer though.

Might just mean you can't buy one new. We have some extremely odd laws in this state, as if you didn't already know... Who knows why it's not on that list. A lot of the ones that are on that list you can't buy new in MA anyways.

Ma gun laws are absolute garbage... they're so convoluted. Damn near impossible to interpret them. That's why so many gun manufacturers won't even go near this state.

 

That shed that guy is building is something else. Reminds me of this guy I used to work with. He could have a miter box set on 90°and still not have a square cut... I spent more time correcting his mistakes than doing actual work.

 

MA doesn't like "pocket pistols" hence why most aren't on the list. Also you could but private out of state but may get screwed registering it or carrying it. Also FFL's can't transfer them in...gotta love MA
