I am a firm believer you smoke crack because clearly you smoke crack...

You're #1...in 1/3 of the polls so there must be a lot of crackheads out here.

It's the coaches poll...not the grundletaint poll. Take it up with them because you obviously know better.

Interesting photo. It's for the complete schedule, not who they've played up until now.

it was an away game for us, that we barely lost, ole miss had their star reciever when they played us, and this was an away game for ole miss without their star reciever. ole miss's momentum is on a down swing and AR is on a way up swing after the lsu win. plus right now i would say (and i think most level headed ppl would agree) that AR could play tight or beat everyone in country right now, especially at home.

What's happening to ole miss with treadwell out is exactly what would be happening to FSU if Winston went out.

Arky has pulled their shit together and thank goodness it's at the end of the season. As I said a few weeks ago, all they needed to do was figure out how to finish the game. It's a miracle Bert kept them in it and they kept playing for him rather than quitting.

im just saying the ole miss team we played is not the same team that arkansas played and conversly the arkansas team we played is not the same team that ole miss played. i actually believe that we are really close to the auburn team from last year. auburn was a really good team and they beat some better teams, they just lost the one that mattered. at the same time i think we are a really good team and have beaten a better team, but if the top 4 play out like it looks and we play state again we stand a good chance of losing but if we win i dont think Oregon, FSU, TCU, Baylor, ohio state or K state (or how ever the last two games of the season play out for everyone) stand a fat chance at beating us. call it biased but until i see it, i can't believe that an SEC wont win the N.C.

    you shut your whore mouth!:p

Boogers lucked their way into a number of victories last year, especially the Jawja and iron bowl games. We haven't had to rely on dumb luck at all, really. That LSU out of bounds kick was a blessing, though.

Criminoles are awfully arrogant for a team who's barely squeaking by teams like ND, BC, and the like.

i know that we havent needed near the luck AU needed last year but u cant tell me that we have looked like a great team all year with the exception of TAMU unless u are really dillusional. like i said We are a really good team but i dont think we are the best in the country, but were close. auburn was a really good team last year, tre mason was an outstanding RB, they had a decent defense, and marshall presented legit a dual threat at QB. i see Alabama as having one or two outstanding WR, two good RB, a decent Defense and a QB that can run if he needs to. like i said pretty similar to last years AU. just my $.02

We've looked awesome and looked crap at times. I do think that on a good day we can beat anyone and our best day vs anyone else's best day we come out on top. All of the best teams this year have shitty days.

And if we lose again it's gonna be a hard fought, close game, and at the end. We haven't let anyone go up multiple scores on us and have kept ourselves in a position to win the entire game, all game, every game this season. Can't really say that about anyone else. Furthermore, we don't have to rely on a single player to make things happen. Cooper has been dynamite but even when he's not playing effectively and dropping easy passes we still get it done.

While points like this should be taken into account when making selections about team with the same records, it seems like the selection committee is using this shit first then wins and losses to make decisions.

The great thing about sports is anyone can win.
This isn't dungeons and dragons, at the end of the day what matters is who WON and who LOST.

Part of what the committee has to decide is who are the best teams at the end of the season...who kept it together and can keep winning.

Most, if not all, teams go through a progression through the season. One team may dominate at the beginning and fizzle out, another may stumble early and recover majorly. New QB, graduated seniors, drafted players, etc are all variables teams face and have to sort out starting at game one.

You can't really tell who's the best until the end of the season and can't always base that solely off numbers, as the BCS proved (ex. notre dame undefeated in the title game had NO business being there).

People were always complaining the computers couldn't see the intangibles, and the committee is an attempt to remedy that but people still complain...all they can do is try to figure out who the best teams are come playoff time.

I agree with aspects and disagree with aspects. I honestly think the BCS could have done well with the top 4 and made a playoff from that method.
