yeah im thinking the same thing, for 67 bucks the kit comes with everything needed so if it works well we might be doing 6 seats ha ha ha

 

Use a good pair of wire cutters and cut the hog rings. If you don't have a hog ring pliers & new hog rings you can use larger nylon ties (aka zip ties) to put the covers back on. If he ordered from Amazon though I would check out the return possibility and then call a local Cartoys to see what they charge for everything and then see if it's worth it. It's a bit of a PITA to do if it's not something you do daily so it may be money well spent. That's obviously only a decision you and your buddy can make once you get all of the facts though but, like I said earlier, I was shocked when I was standing there at CarToys and my buddy had already started to learn how cheap it is to take in a vehicle w/o any parts and have them install seat heaters. It made me wish I hadn't been sitting on this 'kit' for a year or so so that I could return it and just have him use their proven parts too. Buying the 'kits' can be a bit of a crap shoot though so that's also something to keep in mind.

 

Did you have your heaters installed under the stock fabric? I have never been in a vehicle with heated seats and cloth....only leather. Do you remember the cost?

 

Yes, underneath the cloth. I've owned vehicles that had cloth heated seats from the factory too. I don't recall because he was already installing mine so it wasn't something I committed to memory. I just remember being surprised by how inexpensive it was. Like I keep saying.... just call and ask if you're in the market.

will do, for some reason i had it in my head to order leather from katskins or clazzio then put the heaters under those. That was the pricey part that has always stopped me. With that out of the way, and snowboarding season here. This might need to happen soon.

Seat warmers are great for a minute then I'm done, no literally one minute. My brothers g35 has them, used them and once, only once

 

Seat warmers make me have to poop... Like instantly, it's terrible.
