Barely. They're almost worn to death. 285/75/17 next...gonna try the rare and mythical "34s".

NICE! Need a price? If nothing else, to help you get the same deal last time. Whatever happened to the tundy wheels?

285's ~ 33" and for what it's worth, I put white letters out on ALLmy trucks

Lol, he means white walls cause the sidewalls are chunked as hell and showing white underneath.

He be in AZ now :(

John, I've also been considering 285/75/17. They should be a little easier to clear than a wider 295 or 305.

    :p

Appreciate the offer, but I moved out to Arizona in May. The Tundy wheels got sold because the price SCS offered me on my current wheels was too good to pass up.

This is the truth. And Swimgood is also correct - I measured my tire diameter the other day and with the tread worn almost all the way down and the truck on the ground they're 31 7/8s. Lulz.

Only bad thing about these MTs, you lose clearance as you drive 'em.

I considered 35s but decided on 34s to maintain a little overgear, decrease bearing/drivetrain/brake wear and tear a little, and I think I can make up the half inch of lost clearance just by driving better :D

Be back in town sometime over the holidays. I'll yell at you fuckers ahead of time and we can grab a beer.

    New Tars! :woot:

Went with Nitto Trail Grapplers in the dirty-four (285/75/17) flavor. Didn't feel like cutting a buncha shit and re-doing my fender flares right this second.

I had been rolling on chunked, destroyed KM2s for so long I forgot what even, balanced tread feels like. The truck rides like glass now and the gearing is back to being perfect. Borat-level verrrrrr-nice!

I dig the look. Angry truck:

Tars work. Also Arizona has some graded but swoopy forest service and backcountry roads. With a full Icon suspension and tires at 20 PSI, I can confirm that doing 50 down some twisty dirt and floating on a cloud is an enjoyable experience.

May '14. Position I was working wasn't lighting my fire and the nice thing about healthcare is you can wander far and wide. I did a clinical rotation in Prescott back in 2007 while still in grad school and fell in love with Northern AZ. I like rock climbing, 4x4ing, and shooting, so it's pretty much candyland for me. Decided to come cross country and try livin' out here for a while.

I'm up here in Cottonwood. Truck has been through Phoenix exactly once to drop a buddy off at the airport. Probably not me you're seein' unless it's Prescott/Verde Valley/Sedona/Flagstaff area.
