I was 209 Thursday and lost 8 lbs over the weekend. I dunno what happened!

I just read this. Thoughts? Smells like bullshit to me. If not, I'm assuming it's just some type of oral pro-hormone.

Link won't work for me. Tried on my MacBook and PC.

On another note, It's been a little over 2 months since my surgery and this is my 5th week back in the gym. Feeling good so I decided to up my workouts a little. Today I did shoulders and left feeling good and no pain.

    DB shoulder press 4x10
    DB shrugs 4x10
    Lateral raises 3x10
    Side raises 3x10
    Upright rows 4x10
    Internal/External rotator cuff 3x10
    Barbell shrugs 3x10
Behind the back barbell shrugs 3x10

We'll see how I feel tomorrow, lol

I dunno what happened, but it's not working for me either. Anyway, it's some new "breakthrough" supplement called Ripped Muscle X that guarantees 20-25 lbs of muscle in a month and it's got a lot of professional athletes testifying about how great it is. I'm calling bullshit, unless it's a pro-hormone, which is definitely possible.

Yeah, I'm gonna go with a pro-hormone. I've never seen a "clean" sup do that.

PH or not, I will 99% guarantee U won't get a fraction of that number of 'real muscle' even enhanced athletes cannot achieve that in a month.

Maybe in a 8 week cycle but they won't retain that after their off cycle.

Hey guys! I need some guidance from you gym rats. Due to my work schedule, I avidly go to the gym about 3-4 times a week so I don't explode and become an overweight slob. In the end of September, I went to Seattle and participated in my second ToughMudder and have fallen off the wagon since then. I went 7 weeks without the gym and since my return, I find that I am not as motivated as before. If I miss a day - oh well. Next time I tell myself. I noticed yesterday when I was working out back/bicep/forearm/cardio that I don't have the 'UMPH' in me that I used to. I can only get 6 reps - oh well. Move on to the next.

I've never really taken pre-work out supplements before and am thinking about it to get me back on track. Back in 2008, while deployed, I was using MusleTech's NanoVapor and enjoyed it but after X amount of use for an extended period of time, I felt that the pump wasn't there anymore.

My question is: What would you guys recommend? Should I go back to NanoVapor as that's what worked for me before and I am comfortable taking it? Or is there better product out now? I don't want to take something that'll give me the jitters for an extended period of time. I'm a full time single dad so I take my daughter with me to the gym and leave her at their KidsClub program so I have 2 hours to work out and shower before I have to pick her up.

    Thanks,

    Joe

There's so many pre-workouts it's hard to say which one is better. For instance, C4 works very well for me but others on here feel no effects/hate it. If NanoVapor got to the point where you weren't feeling the effects then it could have been because you didn't off-cycle and your body built up a tolerance to it. One thing that motivates me is downloading new music and not listening to it until I'm at the gym. That and changing my workouts up often so I don't fall into a redundant slump.

That sounds like some bullshit, plus steroids are not the same for everyone, some people gain tons while other gains almost nothing, and im talking about pharma grade.
Pre JYM, solid product with everything listed in their ingredients unlike 99% or company out there.

True. I've seen folks gain 25 lbs off a 12 week test cycle and I've gained around 20 lbs off a 30 day oral PH cycle, but it wasn't all muscle.

I'm not taking it. I just read about it. I was referring to the link to the article not working.

Oral PH's work, but there are too many side effects for me.

Did arms and shoulders today. I took the Myogenix Hypershock pre-workout today and it was great! It says to take 2 scoops, but I went with one just in case it was gonna melt my face or anything. One scoop was plenty and it tasted great, too; it only took like 10 mins to kick in. I got kinda jittery for like 2 mins, but there was no beta-aniline tingle, so that was good. I was definitely pumped for about an hour and had no crash. My only complaint is that about half of the damn tub is stuck together and it's probably gonna take a drill to get it loose lol

I've been taking the Myogenix Aftershock protein post-workout and it's different. I can't get over the fruit punch flavor. It's whey, so there's that milky taste and fruit punch just doesn't go well with it. Also, it definitely doesn't mix as well as ON. I do like that it's got more carbs, protein and overall calories than ON (280 calories, 34 g protein, 30 g carbs compared to ON's 120 calories, 24 g protein, 3 g carbs); it's also got 7.25 g BCAA's, compared to ON's 5g's. Lastly, it's got joint support and an antioxidant blend. Overall, it's got more nutritional value than ON, but you can't beat ON's taste and how well it mixes.

    On to the workout:

seated concentration curls: 10 sets of 10 w/ 25 lb dumbbells
    rope pushdowns: 10 sets of 10 @ 160 lbs
    shoulder press: 3 sets of 10 @ 135
standing dumbbell side lat raises: 3 sets of 10 w/ 25 lb dumbbells

My fiancee was naive like that once. I told her to do my workouts I designed for her for a month and see what's up; her and all her friends are doing them now. Too many women think weight-lifting will make them look like Arnold.

Got one of those workouts handy? If so, can you pm one to me? My wife is wanting to get back in the gym but will only go if I go with her which means having to have someone watch our daughter. However, in May there is a huge and nice and will have a daycare that will watch kids as young as my daughter. They're already taking pre-registration so we're gonna do that in a few weeks. Just be nice to see a plan for her, never really wrote up a plan for women before.

Yea, shitty thing is she goes to my PT who has her doing countless weightlifting exercises, but she only goes 1-2 times a week (because thats all I CAN AFFORD... bitch can't afford her own gas let alone a fucking gym membership... Which I am paying for 2 of them and she doesn't even use them even... wait wtf why am I even with this bitch) and refuses to go by herself even though my trainer tells her she needs to come in or do some HIIT cardio... "I just don't have time" Yet she has time to sit on the couch 2+ hours a night... (why am I with her again?) And god FORBID I EVER FUCKING COMPLAIN about her not going to the gym which I pay for... You're an ass hole stop telling me what to do, stop controlling me, telling me to go to the gym makes me never want to go

whew - did I mention I'm not sure why I am with her? sorry for the rant.

TLDR: Bitches be trippin and getting fat
