You can look around a lot of the obstacles for winch points. Not everywhere have them but if you can get stuck there, there's usually one nearby.

 

Anyone been out pheasant hunting this season? Any spots have a solid population?

We found a fair amount of quail out in hollister off 152 a few weeks back. I rustled em up (no dog yet) and my buddy took a shot... Missed. 'Twas tragic.

I'm getting some new fenders, does any one know of a good shop that could mount and paint them for me?

 

Look back thru this thread from the last couple days; I'm sure someone had a pair and they went to someone who only needed one.

 

Are you looking for something cheap or something on the higher end?

 

Something not too expensive. i haven't checked on prices but what should i be expecting to pay? I'm getting the McNeil 3" rise.

I did do my grill and it turned out ok but I want the clear coat to come out identical to the rest of the truck. How easy is it to mount them?

 

Easy. When you take off your current fenders you'll get it

 

I've seen some people not able to align them properly and I'm scared.lol any drilling involved?

 

yeah you drill into the fiberglass where the bolts go through. you use all of the same oem bolt locations

 

I have one that you can HAVE. It was 'passed forward' to me by another member in San Diego (thanks again Chris) and I'm gonna be returning to stock shortly. It's almost completely new and sitting in my living room lol. Unmounted, getting black tire crap all over me every time I have to move it to another corner lol

I just got a quote from a local shop and they want $250 a fender($500/pair). seemed a little expensive...

yea if tha'ts to mount and match paint then yea, especially if they're gonna sand down the glass to fit, I'd jump on that like a fat kid on candy. If its just a paint and you mount? No way jose.

 

That's the going rate per fender at most body shops. If that's too much then I can't recommend the shop I was going to recommend. When it comes to paint and body work, you tend to get what you pay for.
