Still waiting on the pre-order money? That makes me feel bad cause I didn't even pre-order it. I went to crap-mart AKA Walmart because I had a gift card from there and bought mine. She walked to the case and pulled out a copy. Once I opened it up I noticed the card with QR Barcode. Scanned it and it told me it was successful. This was after I loaded the game completely onto the XB1. It took until Franklin walked out of his aunts house for the first time, then the money appeared. After I transferred my online profile, as soon as I started online my money was there. Not sure why you wouldn't have it yet

Right. I didn't pre-order and I got the code to get the pre-order money. It was in the game case. I think Wally world screwed the pooch on that one and gave me a pre-order game accidentally.
I wonder why his money hasn't shown up?

Future Shop said they email the code out. I just haven't received the email yet. I'm going to call them on my lunch to see what's going on.

No idea, a guess would be that because I didn't buy it at wally-crap, and Future Shop knows how to maintain the correct inventory? Future Shop people also work on commission, so they don't want to see the wrong thing, whereas wally-market is all min wage not caring people.

 

I completely agree. I hate Shit Mart. Only reason I went there is because I got a gift card from work. I was in there 5 minutes and wanted to strangle somebody with a usb cord. I usually go to Best Buy or Gamestop.

 

To translate into Canadian so you guys understand, Best Buy and Future Shop are the same company. Gamestop and EB Games are also the same store. Just different names. We have both Best Buy and Future Shop here, it's just a matter of locations, so cities have one or the other, and some cities have both. Because I'm from a small town I actually have to drive over to the next city to go to Future Shop, so I need a pretty significant reason to go (truck is currently getting 12.7MPG according to the uncalibrated Ultra-Guage).

 

Rumor has it, my gf might be getting me one for Christmas. But that's so expensive. I'd feel terrible accepting a $500 gift!

I got her a mobarmor phone mount for Christmas, which was $50...

 

Ah I remember EB Games, they used to be here in my town but Gamestop bought them out. Funny because at one point there were 2 Gamestops in the mall.

I've been on my own since 19, working my way through college but I'm just messing with you . There are a lot of lazy Americans out there but there are also just as many lazy Canadians. Hell humans in general are lazy.

 

I agree. That's why we have internet shopping, so we never have to even leave the house. We can even order freakin groceries online now and have them delivered... It's quite sad actually.

I moved out at 17 to do my mechanic apprenticeship with a motorsports team. After finishing engineering school is the first time I've been living at home in something like 6 years. And I'm only there because I refuse to piss money away on rent when I could be saving up for a house downpayment instead.
