Go for the 33s and be done with it if they fit... When you're off road you always can use a taller tire.. Unless you will be happy with the 32s but I have 32s and I'll be upgrading early to 33s... At stock height 32s are great but when you lift it you want the 33s or bigger...

i want a agressive AT tire and love the look of the duratrac's but i read they dont wear well and dont balance right all the time.

i like the coopers st maxx as well and not quite as agressive looking as duratrac's but much better reviews from what i read.
    can any one comment?

im confusing the hell out of my self and the black friday deals suck ass!

What wheels are you going to be running? I was just in the same predicament & decided to be a little more conservative and go with the 265/70-17s duratracs and I'm glad I did. My duras rub quite a bit with 3" of lift.

my mud flaps gone long ago and i have 1.25 spacers on the truck right now,im planning on running my stock sport rims.

i have seen the 285's on stock rims and looks good.my truck is 2wd and i dont bomb it like when i was young. i know the 285's will get less MPG .
the 255's are nice cause they are a full 33 tire.
whats stopping me from the 255's is im worried they will look to skinny on a DCLB truck with my 3in lift

here are the specs side by side
