    Looks great! Can't even tell!!

Considering doing the same but in matte black. Did you have any difficulties masking them off or did you remove them from the mirrors to dip them?

Well that certainly makes it easier...

I'm thinking it will be better to take them off but i'm worried about the damage from the double face tape

Like along the rocker panels? I have, I did mine in Rustoleum bed liner. I didn't go very high with it, but I like the way it came out.

A few others on here have but I can't think of anyone in particular at the moment.

Edited my post and put a pic in. I had some chipped paint in that area and it also seemed to be stained with years of mud, dirt, salt, sand, etc. Every time I washed the truck that bottom area always seemed yellow-ish

Yep just went in a straight line. IIRC there's a small curve or indent there on the cab, so thats where I started from. I pretty much just eye-balled it, although it took me quite awhile to make sure it was straight as can be. Came out pretty good.

I used Rustoleum bedliner, which I've used for a lotta stuff. I don't completely love the texture of it but its easy to use, cheap, and they sell it at Walmart so its very easy to find.

im beginning to think a straight line right above the body line would look better than following the body line because of the curves at the front and rear.....

what dont you like about the texture?

I've used the same stuff. If you do some good prep work it will last. As for the texture its like a fine grit sandpaper. Because of the rattle can nozzle they can't add a bigger textured finish. Say like the Rhino liner, or even the roll ons.

How does plasti dip hold up to mud? Does it stain the dip if you leave the mud on there too long? Thinking about painting my entire truck camo tan and I deal with alot of mud and don't want the dip to be stained first trip through any mud.
