That's a bummer, but you'll find another. I had to zip over to Mt. Airy to get this one. I need some pellets now.

    Morning Charlie.

You're right, Mother Natiure will do as she pleases. We could use some snow here, dry and dusty. Noticed lakes freezin' over, so it's getting steadily colder. Hope for an insulating snow layer before the real sub-zero deep ground freeze sets in.
Awesome little mini rotary there.
Did you get a second opinion on the pain meds, or just toughing it out? Keep you in my thoughts.

Glenn, nice score on the Traeger, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Too windy for putting up the lights Sunday; worked on mount system for putting a winch on my flatbed trailer yesterday. Might get some lights up today :notsure:
    ... back to work tonight.

Same here Capt., looks like we're going to have a white thanksgiving!

Nice find on the smoker Glen. Am wondering if you can use both wood chips and pellets in them?
One smoker down, one to go! :D

Watching the news about what's happening in Ferguson. Looting, smashing windows, setting fires: who woulda thought!!!!!

    Morning all!

It's been raining for the past 12 hours here. It did not get below 35 during the night, and it looks like the next 24 hours will be more rain. I'd bet it is pretty white once one gets out of the river valley though.

I scrounged about 300 pounds of cast iron off of Craigslist and ordered a new bench and bars. I got the stuff set up yesterday morning, and it looks like I will be able work on getting a double hernia for Christmas without having to leave home. I'm too old for the life I lead.

 Good morning cod&d's. I'm ready for the snow but will believe it when I see the white stuff fly. Got new tires on the truck yesterday so it should behave itself, although based on the thread about adding weight to the bed I may want to stop by a big box store and pick up some sand or dirt or something. It seems as though the consensus is that 200 pounds in the bed makes life easier in the slick stuff.

They are difficult to come by any more, but the best sand tubes are inner tubes with the ends closed with tywraps. They conform to the surface of the bed, do not slide around, and do not rot.

    Evening all:
Something I just read may be of interest to someone, it may be worthwhile to do some checking into this.
Over on "walleye central" they are posting on a new thread about getting their drugs by mail order from Canadian Pharmacies. Several guys posted that their prescriptions are quite a bit cheaper than here in the US.
If I had to use prescription drugs I would be looking into that, fortunately the strongest thing I need is aspirin.
By what they have posted so far it doesn't seem too hard to do, but laws on being able to do it may vary from state to state.

    Good morning Rob and Ken.

Have a safe drive today Ken. This storm is supposed to be worse the farther north you go. We should be getting a wintery mix today. In DC if you live east of I95, and I do, we should just have rain. It was 43° in my back yard this morning.
