Erik, Give me a call so we can try to figure out what's up with them. We've not had any issue with them not fitting before.

Looks good, as far as the bolt heads facing down, just swap the hex headed bolts with SS carriage bolts, problem solved.

stainless hardware is retarded, you know stainless likes to gaul right? especially hardware, just saying, its kinda a pain cutting bolts off. rusty ones are a lot easier to deal with. I have sum of your guys skids and theyre a good product but the hardware I think is stupid, keep it standard, not stainless bullshit

Basik, sorry you were not happy with the upgrade hardware. We used stainless for 2 reasons. 1 it does not rust. And 2 the 1/2x3 1/2 button head bolt for the Trans/T-case skid is only available in stainless. The button head is a MUCH nicer install that allows the bolt head, if hit, to slide over objects, instead of get caught on them. Also the stainless is harder so the head does not get damaged nearly as easily.

To prevent galling, apply some antiseize on the threads before putting the nut on. We provide a spiral lock washer with the hardware so you don't have to worry about the nut backing off.

Thank you for the suggestion, but we'll be sticking with the SS. It is the best bolt for this application. I know corrosion isn't an issue for you in CA but it is for almost everyone else. A little Anti Seize and you won't have any problems.

Very interested in a full set of skids. A question regarding fit with bolt on sliders (BAMF). I noticed the ATO transfer case skid has a brace that mounts to the frame. Will this interfere with the mounting of the Sliders? Wondering if any one has the BAMF sliders installed with ATO skids???

Torque to 45 ft lbs to prevent gaulling on SS hardware.

We do have room in the bracket to allow it to sit 3/16" lower on the frame to allow for bolt on slider plates. We have a flange on the bottom of our bolt on sliders also so we made sure to leave an allowance for that.
