If I'm looking at getting spacers, like 1.25" for when I put 35's on, do I need to get a set for the rear tires as well, or is just a set of 2 ok for only the front? Thanks for your thoughts. Also I've looked at spidertraxx, some other brand and bora. They all seem to be made out of the same aluminum, is there anything specific I should be looking for that separates 1 from another?

You don't need to. I would get them for the rear so the stance matches the front but def not needed. All those spacers are fine. Spidertraxx come anodized blue which makes them resistant to corrosion and oxidation which is commonly caused by salt. Around here there's no ocean or salty roads so it seems unnecessary for me to pay the extra money for them. Besides that there is no difference. Whatever you can find in a gb price or on sale, get um. Or if you don't want big blue spacers behind your wheels then don't get those. Haha

Yea I'm thinking I like the bora just cause they're black... And not blue. Although maybe I should put up with the blue since they lay salt down on all the roads for snow/ice if they're anodized. Def don't want to have to sorry bout a wheel randomly failing off (exaggerated I know haha).

Well the bora spacers are anodized black so there ya go. Haha and the oxidation will really be more of an appearance issue then a strength issue. Get the bora's

 

Yeah, I have the Bora's for the same reason. They are anodized. I got them on a group by if I remember right. I would definitely get the rears at the same time if you can swing it. I just think it looks better to have them matching.

 

A lot! lol... I almost hate to say. But they were 10,549.90. Just looked at the invoice. That's delivered, not installation or door openers. They quoted me like 4k for regular white doors, no insulation or anything. Talked to my brother in law and he is a builder and he said if I could swing it, I should definitely get the better doors. He said having those type of doors, just make the house look way better. I had never had any before, but now that they are installed, I would have to agree. Also, they are oversized doors and not a regular size. I didn't want to barely fit, they are 10x9.

All that said, it was a lot of money, but it was probably worth it. They are very well built and insulated! The garage holds a good temp all the time and doesn't make large swings. Attached are a few more pictures of them. From 50 feet, you can't see the cracks where it folds... And if the light is right, you can't even tell up close. I have actually had a couple of buddies ask me how heavy those big wood garage doors are and they were up close... But it's faux wood and the fold up just like a regular garage door.

Lol aluminum is already anti corrosive... it will oxidize on the top layer and that's about all the corrosion you will see on it. That's why Ford decided to do the aluminum body f150 because it shouldn't have much corrosion
