When my back and shoulder start feeling almost normal again...

Did you have to cut your IC piping to get it to fit btw?

yeah, because it was cheaper for me to get the IC parts from eBay and cut them to fit instead of buying the CX kit that comes with all the charge pipes. And yeah make sure to heal up dude lol. The headers were the worst part for me.

Thought so. Did you put a bead on ends of your pipes by any chance? That's kind of holding me up, I want the peace of mind don't want a pipe blowing off.

No. Don't worry about the beads unless you decide to bump up the boost. I got a batch of Godspeed T-clamps and a batch of Chinese T-clamps and I'll tell you right now that those CX clamps are going to strip, not fit right, or completely break and drive you nuts SOMETIME in the future... especially if you find yourself frequently taking them off to adjust or clean something like I did. The more expensive clamps have the SS ring and a grade 8 yellow zinc bolt and nut. Well worth the price to replace the cheap steel ones.

New coils installed. Found out why it rode so weird; had a shot bilstein.

What sealed up? You think the water is getting into the catch can and not coming from the block?

Yeah the catch can sealed up. It's what happened to mine but mine sucked more air in than water. I think that's what caused me to lose o pressure and spin that rod bearing. When I opened my catch can up it looked like mud and not clear like yours tho so I dunno

Gotcha. I think its just condensation now that Ive had a chance to think about it. Im currious why there is little oil blow by though. the rear engine vent is blowing a shit ton of oil out and needs to be routed to the can which means I need to drill and tap another hole...

When are you going to be avail? If you want I can give them to whoever you are selling to if they are local or just ship them for you. Let me know.

Just emptied my catch can last week. Murky creamy oil mixture on top, and underneath, quite a bit of water. Normal in most cases, as it does like you said. Collects the condensation from inside the engine. Especially in the colder months. Just always need to be attentive to how it looks when you drain it, incase there is something out of the ordinary.

Gotcha. I a bit concerned with how little oil there was. There are two crank vents on the 5VZ. The valve is located on the passenger side/front but there is a vent with no valve on the back of the engine/driver side (post #24 explains it better with a pic: ). The little block coming off the back side of the intake is where the 2nd vent connected too (its just tapped off for now )

I just had a spectre filter on it for a while but it seams to be blowing all the oily residue out that side and not the PCV valve (maybe plugged?).

Either way I went ahead and did some getto modding and added the rear vent to the catch can as well. Had to relocate the vent:

Drink 2 tablespoons of organic unpasteurized apple cider vinegar. It tastes worse than whatever you would throw up but it'll help kill the bug. I do that every time I know I'm going to puke and it always goes away.
