Lol you guys all have funny jokes... But now I feel bad for the guy. Kinda reminds me of the movie "pursuit if happiness" he buys all those scanners to try and sell to doctors but then finds out they're too expensive and can't make profit. Now 3dcarbon is probably sitting at home with a bunch of these scoops. Oh and he's writing a note that states he'll commit suicide if no one buys..

lol, and im disappionted that you support this guy in trying to take advantage of us forum members.... if anything WE are the ones who are insulted..... for a company to sell a stick-on product for such a high price and take advantage of this toyota community, when we could buy an entire NEW FACTORY scooped hood for nearly the same price.

looks like somebody made a poor business decision.... make a product without doing some research on alternatives..... that are OEM.... and for the same $$.

on a side note, put me on the list..... I would like 3.... one for on top of my factory hood scoop and 2 for both front fenders so people think i have functional scoops to cool the brakes..... since the taco looks like a racecar.

If the guy had done his homework he would have quickly found out that Tacoma enthusiasts are not the market he should be looking into for his product.

All of us agree that would not drop $300 for a stick on hood scoop. We may also agree that we would not spend $300 if the phony scoop bolted on. In comparison a company like Roush Performance makes non-functioning hood scoops that in part tape/part bolt on for $300 for F150's and Mustangs and probably sell a number of them.

What I am getting at is although the guy got hammered for trying to promote his phony hood scoop, I don't feel bad for the man one bit. If anything he now knows to do his model specific market research before deciding on, who and how he plans to market his product.
