CLA is just an isomer of linoleic acid, both of which are polyunsaturated fatty acids (omega-6)

it's also found in most meats you already eat.

certain polyunsaturated and polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids have been shown to be good for in certain amounts, especially for heart health

CLA is not one of these. It's not known to have any health benefit for humans
I didn't even know this was a supplement people took

that stuff is the best pre I've ever used
but i build up a tolerance to it quick
good stuff, without all the proprietary bullshit

Best way to lose weight is to eat at a caloric deficit.

One of my coworkers told me that the average person consumes 3600 calories at thanksgiving dinner. I didn't see the article she was talking about so I may just be spreading rumors. *shrug*

There are people on here that consume that daily, lol. I take in about 2500-3000 calories a day, or at least try to.

...And I eat between 3500 and 4k daily when I'm in serious training mode. But I don't do it at one sitting, do you?

Read over that part :anonymous: I see what you mean. I wouldn't doubt it though. I don't think I've ever ate that much in one sitting. I'm usually pretty good about not over eating but I know if I get hungry a few hours later I can just eat it all again, lol

I don't eat a lot of meat, except a turkey sandwich for lunch really. I do also take fish oil..mainly b/c of my cholesterol, it was off the charts and I finally got off prescribed meds for it.

That's what I do already..I forget the # to maintain off my head but I try to chop at least 500 a day off of it.

So in this case, what's the way to go? I do CLA, GNC Total Lean burn pre-workout (cardio and weights)..Muscle Milk, but not every day.

Remember too that I'm balancing weight loss with this..and I'm not lifting anywhere near the numbers most of you are, nor will I be able to for a long time.

You're trying to lose weight, right? The only thing I know is to eat less and stay geeked up on a stim like caffeine to keep your heart rate up, which burns calories. I'm not an expert on weight loss, but I can definitely tell ya how to bulk!

On a holiday-related note, I just finished meal 1, which was about 1500 calories :D only two more to go!

Get a more pure protein than muscle milk, consider TSN cardio igniter or ab igniter..

Cardio everyday, same maintenance macros, EC stack = shreds for days, cut out 10g carbs every 2 weeks till its around 10% of your macro, make up deficit with higher fats and protein then reverse diet. That's how JOH does it.

    the main thing is diet
you could cut the CLA out and save money since it doesnt do anything- even from natural meat/dairy sources, it doesnt do anything for you
A slight calorie deficit with a moderate amount of any type of exercise will your best bet

I'm 5 foot 10. I started at 250 pounds in April, 240 when I began treadmill in June. I started weights in July. Right now I'm 190..lot of good progress of course. I still have a belly though, I figure I'm about 10 extra in the gut but that's merely a guess is all.

I was drinking 2 2-liter bottles of Mountain Dew every day..oddly, I wasn't hyped up on it. I guess after doing that my whole life I'm immune..not a coffee drinker at all either.

I do at least 30 min of treadmill, usually more like 45-60 a day. I try to do 2 miles at least, 3mph 5pct incline. That will burn about 325 calories. I totally cut out soda..only water, Propel Zero, Powerade Zero and I drink over a gallon of water a day.

The more muscle mass you have the greater percentage of fat you'll burn...too much cardio starts to eat in to muscle mass....you need to lift, build muscle and burn fat.
