    It also allows for the larger injectors to run properly.

    On '05-'08, the reflash isn't necessary. As a UCON or other can be installed (with injectors) and run the engine & s/c with out the reflash.

    Do you know he has the 2nd version intake? Terminology is kind of confusing... Could be TRD 1st gen intake for 2nd gen trucks :notsure:

    The issue has been solved by others by making modifications to the boot that seats against the TB. Not a big deal actually.

    I have the 2nd gen intake for 2nd gen trucks... and im lookin for louder with boost, and he claims the k&n wouldn't lose power paired with the s/c, and it is the LOUDEST option...
