What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Installed a flowmaster 50 series delta muffler and had it dumped at the rear axle

 

Finally got my sliders properly cleaned up and primed with self etching primer.

After cruising through an intersection in the snow with our hyper sensitive abs - I did the abs kill switch mod today. SPST switch from Radio Shack for $3.99 and maybe a 1/2 hour of my time;

Yesterday I had new tires put on. LT285/75R16 BFG T/A KO2's

Did a little pre-emptive trimming before the installation, and good thing I did! Will get pictures later, but these beastly tires almost make it look I have no lift anymore!

 

After waiting nearly 6 months, I got my halos finally wired. Did not want them on all the time, so wired it to a switch in the cab. Need to go buy another fuse, but it's working.

Also switched all of my black door handles to color coded ones.

 

Took the wife and my daughter to the cut your own tree farm, Tacoma been putting in some work this weekend.

Cleaned and painted inside the front boxed section of the truck frame. Applied gorilla tape to frame cutouts / holes in the front wheel wheels.

 

What did you do for prep?

 

installed my new kobalt truck box i got at lowes yesterday morning on sale for black friday. FYI, all in stock truck boxes are on sale for 25% off through dec. 3. mine was 119. OTD. mounted with deezee box fasteners from tractor supply. i used a short piece of flat stock to keep the bolts from pulling through the aluminum. it's rock solid. i will be painting or bedlining the box so it's black in the near future.

 

Real simple. Cleaned with a wet / damp rag attached to an aluminum pipe with a 2" offset. Let dry. Later I apply paint with a mini roller attached to the other end of the pipe. Worked unbelievably well.

 

Installed DashCam...actually behind the mirror. Hard to see, outside pic was taken with flash. From outside, right to left...Valentine V-1, ScanGauge, DashCam, mirror.
This was a B40 / A118 from Amazon...$66 shipped.
Takes great color videos, just add a microSD card. I used a 32G card. Probably overkill.
