Well, you never know really what will happen with a sent letter.. Now that I've got the info from Brady come Monday it's a done deal.

When hourly associates collect 3 "homer" awards it's worth $100 in their paycheck.

This guy will get one now for sure.

BTW Going to order a dishwasher, microwave, and gas range from HD tomorrow. GE List cost is $2300. HD sale price is $1694. Take the $300 MFGR rebate and the cost is down to $1394. HD can take their time for delivery. I probably will not need them for 6 weeks.

 

That's working the system to your fullest advantage.
I think I said it already that now is the best time to buy appliances... Sales at HD run until 12/3.

 

Yup and the MFGR rebate expires on 12/3 as well. We met with the kitchen designer and contractor on Friday. We are on the way to a new kitchen.

Going to talk to the neighbor across the street to see if he can get us an additional HD discount. He was able to get us one when we bought the refrigerator back in September.

Good morning Craig. I will let you know how it went at HD today. Also wanted to look at the HD offerings for wood look porcelain tile. The kitchen design is coming together.

Already alerted my broker that I will need to do a large sell order in December. Hopefully order the cabinets in the 2nd to 3rd week of December.

hmmm... When the oldest and his family move to Phoenix, I'm seriously thinking about looking at RVs our first trip down there. I think I might be able to get a slot in a storage lot on Luke AFB. Don't know if I could survive a Summer there, but 10 or so years down the road I can see snowbirding there for Winters.
