    ok so right now my billies are set to 2.5, if i get ome 2887 coils, then i should be high enough to clear 285's? the coils will bring my front to around 3"? the rear is still set to 2.5, but thats fine with me, i dont have the $$ to get dakars right now..

    Yes out the billies at 0 and out on 887s should get 3in of lift I just bought this setup haven't put it on tho seems like the way to go. Or 885s and top plate spacer. But you can save money buying the 887s and not hving to buy the top plates.

    out the billies at 0? you mean set them back to stock ride height and the coils will do the rest?

    Yes set the perch on the strut to the bottom setting which is 0 or stock and the 887s will lift a
    Roughly 3in. You don't want to set the billit's any hight you will preload the spring and get a rough ride and over 3in you will have issues with other components.

    Idk for long beds not sure if its the as a short bed. I have a 2in aal in the rear with 3 up front I'm sitting almost a inch higher in the back

    I measure 24.5 in the rear hub to fender front with. 2in spacer I'm at like 22 1\4 so another inch would be 23 1\4

    Im also having the same problem. I just traded in my new camaro for a taco cause the camaro road like crap. I want bilstein 5100 up front with a 1.5 aal in the back. I only have $1500 saved up cause I'm a college boy... Any ideas on what I should do? I want to be able to fit bigger tires than the stock ones i have on my 2012 trd off road 4x4.

    I'm considering 285/75/16 and I don't mind a little rubbing. If you have any other suggestions if you don't think that can work than please let me know. I've grown up around all this stuff but I've never had experience with a tacoma before. NEWBIE

    That's what I run currently, I think you get more bang for your buck with that size and lots of options. Depending on if you go mt or at you'll have different amounts of rubbing too. Each manufacturer actually size varies.

    My 265/70-17 duratracs rub after trimming flaps. I have 9" wide wheels with 4.5" of bs. I thought about the 285s & I'm glad I didn't get them because they would rub A LOT!
