Sorry if some of you are un-interested in this since it's a lot of photos... 6D vs 60D in low light tests. I set up a tripod and ran both bodies with the 24-105L. I zoomed so each captured the same field of view. 6D was at 50mm and 60D was at roughly 32mm. These are all 100% crops to really show what's going on. From top to bottom the photos will be 160, 640, 1250, 3200, 6400, 12800 ISOs. Top set will be 60D bottom set will be 6D. Enjoy pixel peepers :D

And just some fooling around shots. Was busy today but got out to just snap a few. The 6D with 24-105 is a buttery combo!!!

Some fall color after an epic rain. Epic only because we haven't gotten anything steady in a year or so. It wasn't much on the gauge-little more than .55 inches.

    Kyle....... :jellydance:

TJ, img 4650 is nice! The way the backhalf scene fades into bokeh is great. Has a 3d effect almost.

Got out today to go play with the truck and new camera. I hit my usual spot (Monte/Ben/Mike know this spot :D ) but got a bit deeper into the two track and was rewarded with some great views and track.

The new camera is such a treat to shoot with. Very happy with my decision to stay with a DSLR over mirror-less as I realize how much I love the feel in hand and the shutter clack, which by the way is much quieter than the 60D.

Both hawk shots are about 80% crop :goingcrazy:

Yeah they are so sweet and fun to shoot! This one is in pristine condition too! I am going to keep this one as a collector, but will still shoot it now and again.

Damn Marc! Those are great. Nice & sharp, good color. I like the direction you went with the first. And the last two are nice too.

I have the 200L f/2.8 and think it makes some mighty fine images. Then I saw the 1.8. What a huge difference. Plus, even the beat up ones are going for north of $3500.

    What a great find.

I had one a couple years ago in similar condition, just a few marks where the hood attaches and paid $4000 I think... This one is in even better condition and I will be into it $3200-3300 all said and done. So yeah, I'm am super stoked :D

Man it's totally worth it. The gear is great but as you and everyone knows, it's who's behind it. So until you upgrade keep perfecting your craft! I feel lucky since there are a lot of folks who are what i'd consider better photographers than myself but shooting with "less" high end gear.

Thanks guys, happy to share with such a great audience :)

Camera is a 6D mated with the 24-105L lens. The only other lens i've got that will work with the new cam is the 50mm 1.8. The other two wont work since they are ef-s mount and would contact the mirror. But they work great with the 60D :D Like I said before, those hawk shots are about 80% crop of the original image. So happy with the cropability of this lens and camera!!!
